About

Hello, I'm Joanie.

I paint mostly in watercolour, and every so often I'll reach for a little mixed media, some ink or a touch of acrylic. I'm drawn to the natural world: the birds and creatures of the British countryside, a piece of fruit catching the light, the quiet of a walk among the trees.

Every piece is painted by hand, one at a time. There are no prints and no copies here; each painting is a genuine original, one of a kind, and made with a great deal of care and love. I'm proud of every one, and I hope they bring a little of the outdoors into your home.
